We partnered with Wines of Ontario (VQA) to revitalize their brand and strengthen premium perceptions, at a moment when consumer behaviour and the global wine market are shifting dramatically.

CONTEXT
Ontario quietly produces some of the best cool climate wines, with the global awards to prove it. But while consumers increasingly drink less and trade up to premium bottles, perceptions have not kept pace. Ontario has the quality that today's premium consumer is seeking, but its brand needed to meet the moment.
The Strategy
Inspired by luxury fashion and Burgundy’s timeless storytelling, we reframed Ontario’s quality narrative arounds its most authentic strengths: region, terroir, varietal, and the makers themselves. By positioning 120+ winemakers as the human expression of Ontario wine, and pairing them with elevated still life photography, the new brand introduced a modern, understated aesthetic that cues confidence, craft, and world-class calibre.
THE RESULTS
Ontario wine sales rose 78% from March - August 2025 compared to the previous year.
